Review 1 for Panasonic 127cm (50") Full High Definition Plasma TV TH-P50U20
After a couple of years of having large lcd flatscreens, and loving them I wanted to move up to a 50inch screen. After viewing a Full hi-def plasma my mate bought recently, I wanted to check out Plasma V LCD once again. This time however, I was comparing in the "over 40inch" bracket-and quite frankly, to me there is no comparison. The new Full HD Plasmas are so much more natural and realistic and easier on the eyes when viewing, than big screen LCD, at least to my mind, having seen both. And 46" is about the biggest LCD you will find.
I loved my Full HD 37inch LCD, but when viewing BIG screen tv,then Plasma is the way to go.
The TH50U20Z is the second most current model, and the first 1920x1080p Full HD Plasma offered by Panasonic, and for it's price, is just the most incredible value for money. It doesn't have a couple of the features of the newest V series range.like 3D capability, but it has almost everything else. The picture is just amazing-clear,fine and beautiful natural colours, even at factory settings out of the box. It's a BIG tv, but even in my smallish lounge, doesn't look out of place, and the fine.clear picture poses no harshness on the eyes, even after hours of viewing. Dvds are just wicked on this tv, they truly look better than ever. And if you have a blue ray player or Playstation3 you will be amazed. The surround sound is very good, with plenty of adjustment, but to do justice to the viewing experience of a screen this big,you need a home theatre-and the Viera link is so easy to use-one less remote to use! The menus and adjustments to settings are easy to fine and use and the manual is comprehensive and well laid out-very easy to follow. All the features of this set, including the 24p true cinema mode,600 subfield drive, deep contrast are superb. Add in the SD card slot and pc inputs, and 3 HDMI terminals and its a well built and designed Plasma made by a well known brand who have an excellent support and sale and service dept that is LOCAL! Yay! This is a big tv,but not heavy at all-around 30kgs I unpacked and set up my set on my own-but not recommended-they are just so big. The styling is simple but elegant.Black gloss finish does attract dust but a "wonder cloth" or similar will keep it looking clean. If you have a smallish house/home like me,with lots of big windows, just take some time on where you may position it,as the big clear screen is so big,you may get a lot of reflection during daytime viewing. The only con I can really think of with this model is that the rear input terminals are to the right hand end of the set, meaning you can see leads hanging down.If they were grouped in the centre of the rear of set like my old LCD, you can neatly cluster the leads together and then hide them behind the rear where the set sits on it's pedestal.
All in all, this is the best TV I have ever had,to date.An absolute pleasure to watch, and I am glad I went with Plasma-rather than LCD.Whe it comes to screens this big, check out both carefully, and you will se why Plasma is still king of big screens-and the technology and reliability of these sets has now, equalled and possibly surpassed LCD.

Review 2 for Panasonic 127cm (50") Full High Definition Plasma TV TH-P50U20
Pros: good definition, excellent for video games, excellent for dvd's
Cons: hard to fit through the door lol
if your going to buy a t.v i reccomend this one.
when i bought it i was sort of worried if it was going to make me go blind. but i haven't lol. when i watch dvd's on it, you just get blown away at how excellent the quality is. you would have thought i bought it for 1million dollars. that was the best purchase of my life.
